The García Mendoza Consultancy belongs to the third generation of a family business, whose founder, Mr. Ángel García Mendoza, the first auditor in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, opened the first headquarters in 1940 on Arena Street, being a small office dedicated to the organization of companies, auditing of accounts, tax, accounting, and insurance advice, where little by little, the most prosperous businesses in the city were entrusting their accounts to Don Ángel.

Over the years, a large number of businesses from the influential Hindustani community of the Canary Islands, many of the large island businesses, as well as important national and international firms placed their trust in the García Mendoza Consultancy, which carries out its activity as a comprehensive consultancy. of companies, incorporating specialized personnel in the workplace, being forced to expand their facilities.

In the 60s they built a new headquarters at Plaza de la Feria, 5, with four floors, where the García Mendoza family lives with their children on the fourth floor and occupy the 3 lower floors with offices. Currently, this headquarters is maintained on the 3rd and 4th floors of the aforementioned property, along with a branch in the south of the island of Gran Canaria (Edificio Mercurio, Torre I 4ºA, Playa del Inglés).

After the death of Mr. Ángel García Mendoza, his son Ángel Linares García (Administrative Manager, Social Graduate and law graduate) assumes management of the company, maintaining the family business, incorporating the Administrative Management activity.

Currently, the third generation of the family, Alejandro F. García Ruiz (Diploma in Business Sciences, Graduate in Business Administration and Management and Administrative Manager and María Teresa García Ruiz, Diploma in Business and Labor Relations) are at the head of the family business together with professionals of recognized prestige, who promote the modernization and digitalization of the company, adapting it to the constant growth and increase in the client portfolio
